Lux to open Lillians in Willmar

WILLMAR -- Stacey Lux announces she will open a Lillians Shoppe at 414 Becker Ave. S.W. in Willmar. A grand opening is planned June 3-6.

Lillians is an occasional shop open only four days each month: the first Thursday through Sunday of every month. The shop features affordable and trendy handbags, wallets, jewelry, sunglasses, watches and other accessories. It also offers the Moon Goon fashion line, which includes dresses, tops, leggings, jackets and denim.

Lillians was started nearly five years ago by Cindy Dueser and Sue Olmscheid who came up with the idea of opening a chic women's shop focused on service. Lillians also offers a program to guests called "Diva Nights,'' a private shopping experience where invited guests preview and purchase the month's new inventory before the shop opens to the public.

The first Lillians shop opened in August 2005 in Buffalo and has expanded to 33 more shops in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Colorado, and Illinois.
