Marshall joins M.G. Insurance
WILLMAR -- Starr Marshall has joined M.G. Insurance Inc., 333 Fifth St. S.W. in Willmar, as a Medicare specialist and client service representative.
She has five years of experience with Medicare and customer service. She recently received her bachelor's degree in social sciences and gerontology from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She can be reached at 235-9394.

Krueger retires from MnDOT
WILLMAR -- Rick Krueger retired Friday from the Minnesota Department of Transportation District 8 headquarters in Willmar. He had more than 35 years of state service.
Krueger was a transportation generalist senior at the Hutchinson MnDOT office.
He began his civil service career in September 1972 working several summers as a scale operator, laborer on a centerline painting crew and on a bridge crew before becoming a permanent maintenance worker in 1976 at the Hutchinson truck station.
Magnuson new at Hair Designs
WILLMAR -- Toni Magnuson has joined Hair Designs, 1809 First St. S. in Willmar. She started Monday.
Magnuson is a 2005 graduate of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School in Belgrade and is a 2006 graduate of Regency Beauty Institute in St. Cloud with a certificate in cosmetology. She has been employed as a stylist for 3½ years. She recently received her salon manager's license from the state of Minnesota. She can be called at 320-235-5963.
Jasso joins Pep's Salon
WILLMAR -- Juan Jasso has joined Pep's Sport Barber Shop and Salon, 525 First St. S., Suite B, in Willmar.
Jasso has been a barber since 1996. He specializes in fades, many men's styles and razor cutting. He speaks Spanish.

Willmar Dentist Peter Jorgenson was recognized as an associate fellow of the academy of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry during the academy's 2010 annual meeting Oct. 20-23 in Boston, Mass. As one of 514 dentists to hold this distinguished membership, Dr. Jorgenson is one of the leading experts in implant care. To qualify for association fellowship, he completed a minimum of 300 hours of post-doctoral instruction in implant dentistry, performed implant cases and passed the academy's associate fellow examination.
