UHF Television to continue use of UHF signals

WILLMAR -- UHF Television Inc. announces anyone that receives UHF signals will continue to receive UHF channels without the use of a converter box. The reason is that UHF Television Inc. is not going digital at this time.

The digital transition for television signals was scheduled for Feb. 17, but Congress recently voted to extend that deadline to June. According to news reports, televisions that are not equipped to receive a digital signal or are not connected to a converter box will go blank or receive snowy reception.

However, that situation will not be true to persons who receive UHF signals for local channels. For more information, call 1-866-214-8214.
