Rauschendorfer joins WCI JobLink board
WILLMAR -- Paula Rauschendorfer, Bremer Bank vice president of business banking, has joined the board of directors of West Central Industries JobLink, located in Hutchinson and Willmar. JobLink provides work skills training and job placement services for more than 400 people with disabilities.
Rauschendorfer brings extensive financial management, leadership and volunteer experience to the WCI board.
She has donated her time to United Way of Kandiyohi County, Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission, Southwest Initiative Foundation Loan Committee, Ridgewater College General Advisory Committee, YMCA Mentor Program, Sertoma Club, Willmar Rotary Club and various missions with her church.
She lives in Willmar with her two children.
Lawatsch named to Minnesota Hospital Association board
BENSON -- Frank H. Lawatsch, chief executive of the Swift County-Benson Hospital, was recently named to the Minnesota Hospital Association board of directors.
The organization represents Minnesota's hospitals and health systems.
Lawatsch joined Swift County-Benson Hospital in 1997. During his tenure, two expansion and renovation projects totaling more than $8.7 million were completed. In 2002, the hospital was recognized as one of the Solucient Top 100 Hospitals.
Before coming to Benson, Lawatsch served in several different positions at United Hospital District of Faribault County in Blue Earth.
He earned a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health and his bachelor's degree from Augsburg College.
In 2003 Lawatsch won the Minnesota Hospital Association Spirit of Advocacy Award in recognition of his years of advocating for Minnesota hospitals through service to the association and through community outreach.
He has served on numerous boards and committees, such as the Minnesota Rural Health Cooperative board, the Minnesota Hospital Association Policy and Advocacy Committee and Small Rural Hospital Committee, and the Benson City Planning Commission. He is currently the president of Medisota, a 32-hospital consortium in west central Minnesota.
** Nancy Norbie, child support supervisor for Kandiyohi County, has received the Member of the Year Award from the Minnesota Fathers and Families Network in St. Paul. Norbie has worked in child support for over 20 years and has pioneered efforts to make child support more father-friendly and to educate the community on issues related to fathers. She recently completed two terms on the network's board of directors.
** Patricia Gaffaney of Willmar was recently named an excellent beginnings program achiever by lia sophia, a direct seller of fashion jewelry. The award honors company advisors after four months in business. Gaffaney earned the accomplishment by attaining certain sales levels and sharing the company with other new advisors.
** Janine Hubbard of Spicer has been promoted from unit to division manager by lia sophia, a direct seller of fashion jewelry. Hubbard was promoted for meeting or exceeding her personal sales and recruiting goals.
