Brad Kugler joins Bollig Inc.

WILLMAR -- Brad Kugler has joined Bollig Inc., an engineering and environmental consulting firm, in Willmar as a staff engineer.

Kugler has experience in land development, transportation and storm water design. He has a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a native of Alexandria and recently has been in Fort Collins, Colo.

He and his wife, Kayla, plan to move to the Willmar area in the near future.

Endless Summer Tanning opens Willmar studio

WILLMAR -- Endless Summer Tanning Studio of Alexandria has opened its newest studio at 1807 First St. S. in Willmar. The studio offers the latest in German engineered and built sun beds.

The studio has four levels of comfortable and flat sun beds to fit the needs of all tanners, from the entry level Touchdown to the Hot Pepper and Dance. The flagship bed is the Wave, which features full facials, shoulder tanners, air conditioning, misting and aroma therapy. All beds have client-controlled stereo.

In addition, Endless Summer offers Mystic Tan, a private, fully automatic UV-free tanning spray booth that provides a tan in 38 seconds. Beyond the equipment, tanning consultants provide skin care advice and proper lotion selection for maximum tanning results.

Home Town Bank buys Flagship Bank branch

REDWOOD FALLS -- Home Town Bank of Redwood Falls has announced it will buy the assets and assume the liabilities valued at approximately $22 million of the Jordan branch office of Flagship Bank Minnesota.

Dean Toft, president and chief executive officer of Home Town Bank, said his bank has been evaluating expansion opportunities and felt that acquiring the Flagship Bank branch office "was an excellent fit for our organization.''

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close sometime in late summer of 2009.

As of Dec. 31, 2008, Home Town Bank reported total assets of $140 million and stockholder equity of $15.2 million. The bank has headquarters and main office in Redwood Falls and has branch offices in Olivia, Hendrson, Le Sueur, St. Peter and Cleveland.

NorthStar Genetics promotes Nelson

WANAMINGO -- Jay Nelson of Renville has been promoted to regional sales manager by NorthStar Genetics Ltd., of Wanamingo.

Nelson has six years of experience with Ziller Seed and NorthStar Genetics. He will retain his sales territory and will perform the duties of region
