Lake Region promotes Goltz
WILLMAR -- Lake Region Bank in Willmar has promoted Michelle Goltz to mortgage loan officer. She has more than nine years of experience in real estate lending and has provided real estate loan origination and personal banking services in both the Willmar and New London offices of Lake Region Bank since 2003.
As mortgage loan officer, Goltz will originate mortgage loan applications for purchase and refinance transactions.
A native of Willmar, Goltz is a graduate of Willmar High School and holds an associate degree from Willmar Technical College.
She is involved in many community activities, including the Willmar Rotary Club and the Strive program. She and her husband, Bryan, live in Spicer.
Willmar women join Tastefully Simple
WILLMAR -- Amy Tillemans and Megan Strei, both of Willmar, have joined Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct-sales company featuring easy-to-prepare gourmet products.
As independent consultants, they offer the company's gourmet foods and beverages to guests at home taste-testing parties. Guests receive samples, easy meal ideas, recipes and serving suggestions.
Group changes to Heartland Orthopedic Specialists
ALEXANDRIA -- Alexandria Orthopaedic Associates has changed its name to Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, effective May 1.
Although the name has changed, the same orthopedists and care will be available at the Willmar, Appleton, Glenwood, Alexandria and Morris locations, according to Dr. Jeff Brand, Heartland surgeon. He said the name was changed after much time, research and consideration.
Brand said he and Drs. Paul Dale, Pat Hurley, Dennis Weigel, Russ Sticha and Tom Dudley will continue to be available for treatment and care of orthopedic conditions and disorders.
Heartland will continue to be involved with community high schools and colleges and will continue to provide many specialized orthopedic programs including sports medicine and joint replacement.
*Amy Meagher, staff accountant at Conway, Deuth & Schiesing PLLP of Willmar, has passed Intuit's QuickBooks certification course work and has become a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has been with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing PLLP since January 2008.
*Mindi Schmidt of Choices Anti-Aging and Aesthetics, located at Family Eye and ENT Center of Willmar, has completed the advanced medical aesthetics course at True University in Chicago. This medically guided aesthetics course is intermediate education for licensed aestheticians highlighting medical skin care specialization and newest technology.
