Donner takes over Pauly Chiropractic
WILLMAR -- Pauly Chiropractic Center, 412 19th Ave. S.W., Willmar, is now under the ownership of Dr. Ben Donner. Pauly is retiring after 31 years of service.
"It went so fast," says Pauly. "I have been able to work with thousands of patients and help them heal naturally. It was a great run."
Donner worked with Pauly for the last three months, sharing their knowledge and techniques.
"I am very excited for the opportunity to continue to serve patients in this new location," said Donner. He uses a "whole person approach" when treating patients. This approach means looking for the underlying cause of the problem and not merely treating the symptom, and helping patients accelerate their journey to good health.

Chavez orders takeover of Venezuelan
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- President Hugo Chavez ordered the expropriation of Venezuela's largest privately owned steel producer Sunday, the latest in a series of takeovers that has raised concerns among business leaders.
The president said the seizure of Siderurgica del Turbio SA, or Sidetur, is part of his strategy to transform Venezuela into a socialist state.
"I'm announcing the expropriation of Sidetur," Chavez said during his weekly television and radio program, "Hello, President."
Chavez has expropriated dozens of privately owned companies since he took office in 1999.
Affiliated Community Medical Center in Willmar has received a three-year accreditation in mammography from the American College of Radiology. Mammography services at ACMC are part of Willmar Medical Services, a joint venture between Rice Memorial Hospital and ACMC. Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose X-ray system to examine breasts. A mammography exam, called a mammogram, aids in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which provides the practice with a comprehensive report for continuous practice improvement.
