Car kills man mowing his lawn in Rothsay
ROTHSAY, Minn. - A car struck and killed a man mowing his lawn here Monday.

The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. when a vehicle driven by a juvenile left the road on Center Avenue and hit a person on his lawn, according to a news release from the Wilkin County Sheriff's Office.
The victim died at the scene, and his name is not being released until relatives are notified, the release said.
The Wilkin County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Rothsay Fire and Rescue and Ringdahl Ambulance.
The accident is under investigation.
