DEGRAFF -- Carmen Rose Dirkswager, 94, of DeGraff, died Saturday at Bethseda Pleasantview in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in DeGraff. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born Aug. 11, 1914, in DeGraff to Frederick and Leah (Chevalier) Martin. She attended grade school in De Graff and graduated from Murdock High School.
She married Harry Dirkswager on Feb. 2, 1940, in DeGraff. They lived in DeGraff and she worked at her father's grocery store there. Later, she worked at Future Products in Benson. In 2003, she moved into Benson and lived at Park View Manor. In December, she moved to Bethesda Pleasantview in Willmar. She was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church and the altar and rosary society.
She is survived by her daughter: Ann (and EuGene) Fernholz of DeGraff; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister: Lillian Gilles of Fairfax.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958.
