Chuck grew up in New Richmond, WI and graduated from New Richmond high school in 1942. Chuck was involved in agriculture throughout his career. Having grown up on his fathers farm (Charles A. In the late 1950s Charles A. sold the family farm to Doughboy Industries and the farm became the Doughboy Experimental Farm. Charles A. and Sons initially managed the Doughboy Experimental Farm until Charles Sr. retired. In the early 1970s Chuck took on the responsibility as manager of all turkey operations for Quality Farms in Dodge Center, MN and closed out his career with Jerome Foods after they purchased quality Farms.
