BELGRADE -- Cheryl Lynn Ditmarson, 51, of Belgrade, died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crow River Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade. Burial will be at Nordland Lutheran Cemetery in rural Hawick.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.
She was born Sept. 12, 1957, in Willmar to Donald and Joan (Netland) Ditmarson. She grew up in Chicago Heights, Duluth and New London. She graduated from New London-Spicer High School in 1975 and graduated from the Minnesota School of Business.
She moved to Minneapolis where she worked for Dain Bosworth for many years before moving back to Belgrade in 1994. She worked for North American State Bank as a personal banker. Recently she worked for St. Cloud Technical College as the assistant to the vice president of administration.
She was a member of Crow River Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade. She was active with the church youth, teaching Sunday school and as a leader of the youth group. She was active in activities at the Brooten-Belgrade-Elrosa High School where she was the assistant speech coach.
She is survived by her daughter: Erin Ditmarson of Belgrade; parents of Belgrade; siblings: Brian (and Jettie) Ditmarson of New London, Laurie (and Brad) Fossum of Pillager, Dawn Ditmarson of Maplewood, Doug (and Jodie) Ditmarson of Sartell and Duane (and Pam) Ditmarson of Spicer.
