Minnesota man accused in 5-year-old girl's death indicted by grand jury

Christensen rejoins Jennie-O Turkey Store at Spicer, Minn., office

WILLMAR -- Jennie-O Turkey Store announces that Scott Christensen has accepted the position of director, breeder/hatchery and nutrition services for Jennie-O Turkey Store.

Christensen's responsibilities will include managing the egg and poult supply for all Jennie-O Turkey Store operations and oversight of nutrition and research facilities. He will be headquartered at the company's Spicer office, but will have oversight of egg production farms and hatcheries in western Minnesota, southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Christensen graduated from University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He was manager of manufacturing engineering for Jennie-O Turkey Store from 1989 to 1996 and manager of ingredient purchasing for Jennie-O Turkey Store from 1996 to 1997.

He then transferred to Hormel Foods, the parent company of Jennie-O Turkey Store, in Austin where he most recently held the position of director of industrial engineering/Six Sigma. He holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
