City Council approves part-time management for Willmar airport

WILLMAR - The Willmar City council has approved a private business manager to serve as a part-time on-site airport manager.

City staff have have negotiated a management agreement with Brian Negen, president of Willmar Air Service, to serve in as the part-time airport manager.

Negen will receive $1,000 per month for the remainder of 2009. The city will review the part-time management arrangement for 2010.
