The regulation session will begin at 7 p.m. The council will consider an amending ordinance to the City Charter and will consider a proposal to rezone several blocks bordering the southern and western edges of downtown from limited/general business to central business.

Among other agenda items, the council will receive reports from the Labor Relations Committee, the Finance Committee and Community Development Committee.

Also, the council will accept the resignation, effective Dec. 31, 2012, of Ward 4 council member Doug Reese, who was elected to the Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners. In related business, the council will consider declaring a vacancy on the council and set a date for a special election.
