City declares downtown snow emergency for Wednesday

WILLMAR -- The City of Willmar Public Works Department is declaring a snow emergency in the central business district from 1 to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

The area affected will be from First to Seventh Streets Southwest and from Trott Avenue to the bypass. The Old Town Area is exempt from the snow emergency. Cars normally parked on the streets may be parked in city parking lots. Any vehicles remaining on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense.
