Clara C. Mitlyng Feb. 25, 1920 - May 5, 2009

PRINCETON -- Clara Caroline Mitlyng, 89, of Princeton, formerly of Montevideo, died Tuesday at the Elim Home in Princeton.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held for one hour before the service on Friday.

She was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Raymond to Gustav and Olga (Gruhn) Weber.

She married Marvin Mitlyng on July 24, 1945, in Minneapolis. They lived in Montevideo. She worked as a cook at Brookside Manor for many years. Marvin died in 1994. She moved to Princeton in 1999.

She is survived by four children: Donna (and Lee) Campbell of Princeton, Chuck Mitlyng of Olivia, Dave (and Terry) Mitlyng of Montevideo and Steve (and Kim) of Watson; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers: Herbert (and Evelyn) Weber of Montevideo and Charlie Weber of Roseberg, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and one sister.
