Clarence A. 'Kelly' Pearson Feb. 10, 1914 - April 13, 2009
BENSON -- Clarence Alton "Kelly" Pearson, 95, of Benson, died Monday at Glenwood Retirement Village.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
He was born Feb. 10, 1914, in Cashel Township, Swift County, to Charlie and Amanda (Larson) Pearson.
He married Opal Gustafson on June 12, 1941, in Torning Township, Swift County. He farmed until 1955, when he became co-owner, with his brother, of Pearson Machine and Manufacturing. He continued to work there until his retirement. He was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, where he served as an usher; a member of the Benson Golf Club and a private pilot.
He is survived by his wife; children: Beverly (and Jack) Ullman of Vancouver, Wash., and Roger (and Wannie) Pearson of Port Orchard, Wash.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
