Clarkfield man sentenced to 39 months in prison for pulling shotgun on man during altercation at party


GRANITE FALLS -- A 21-year-old man with a lengthy criminal history will serve 39 months in prison for threatening a person with a shotgun at a drinking party attended by underage persons last summer.

Andrew Timothy Oswald, of Clarkfield, was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Paul Nelson, according to the Yellow Medicine County Attorney's office.

Oswald had pleaded guilty to second-degree assault -- dangerous weapon.

Four other charges were dismissed.
