Cokato, Minn., man arrested on child porn charges, thousands of images on computer
LITCHFIELD — A 30-year-old Cokato man was arrested Friday on child pornography charges and is awaiting his first court appearance in the Meeker County Jail.
According to a news release from Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin, Bryan Robert Moham, 30, formerly of Dassel, was wanted on 68 counts of possession of child pornography. Moham was arrested in Cokato by the Wright County Sheriff’s office and transferred to the custody of the Meeker County Sheriff’s office.
The arrest came after investigation determined a person was allegedly possessing child pornography in the city of Dassel, based on a host computer with an internet protocol address and owner in that city.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Moham’s residence along the 200 block of Fourth Street in Dassel and seized a computer containing child pornographic images. The forensic examination of the computer revealed 4,607 documented images and videos confirmed to be child pornographic images of victims under the age of 16 and originating from throughout the United States and other various countries worldwide.
