The Warriors fell 10-1 in the first game. The games were moved to Raymond because of unplayable conditions in Willmar.

Bornhorst walked three and struck out one, and Corey Dixon had a home run among his three hits and he drove in three runs.

Matt Schmitz had three hits and scored twice and Mitch Champagne and Kyle Brazil both had two hits and drove in runs.

In Game One, the Warriors started poorly, with the Blue Devils posting five of their nine hits in their first at bat facing Onas Farfan.

Farfan was not sharp and would leave in the third after giving up eight hits and eight runs.

Colby Siegert, in relief, checked the Devils on one hit — a solo homer — over 3X\c innings.

Riverlands’ Zach Nelson threw a six-hitter with one walk and a single strikeout for the victory.

Ridgewater had a lot of good swings in Game One and that paid off early in the nightcap.

Dixon blasted a solo home run into the wind and well over the fence in left in the second. A four-run rally followed in the third, started when Schmitz and Brandon Christenson each singled. Smart base-running, a wild pitch and a couple of infield misplays fed the outburst. Erich Prokosch supplied an RBI single.

The Warriors play a doubleheader against Central Lakes at 1 p.m. today in Brainerd 1 p.m., and they follow that up with two games against St. Cloud Tech, starting at 1 p.m. Sunday.
