"Those are the best two games (we played all year)," said first-year Ridgewater head coach Dennis Boe. "The big thing we got, really, was good pitching with exceptional hitting. We did a good job and we knew we needed these two games."

Travis Kahl went 7-for-9 and Taylor Gonyea 5-for-5 in the sweep to ignite the Ridgewater offense. Benefitting from the support was Trenton Berg in Game One and Adam Brewers in Game Two. Both left-handers threw complete games on the mound while not issuing a walk.

Ridgewater hosts Minnesota West at 2 p.m. today for a division doubleheader that was rained out on Saturday.
