College baseball: Stingers' Dozier a Preseason All-American

Former Willmar Stingers’ shortstop Hunter Dozier has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association 2013 Division I Preseason All-American first team. Dozier, a junior out of Stephen F. Austin, hit .257 for the 2012 Stingers with a .337 on-base percentage and .380 slugging percentage. He hit six home runs and drove in 40.
Dozier was also ranked No. 84 on Baseball America’s Top 100 College Prospects list for the 2013 MLB draft.
