College Basketball: Filipek now at MSU-Moorhead

Former Willmar basketball player Taylor Filipek has started all four games for the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons, who are 4-0 after defeating city rival Concordia College 70-57 on Tuesday.

Filipek, a 6-6 junior, played in 57 games the past two years at NCAA Division I Eastern Kentucky with 3 starts. He's averaging 6 ppg and 4 rpg for the Dragons.

Also on the Dragons' squad is freshman guard Brady Wohler, whose father Barry is head coach at Orono and a native of Bird Island.
