College camp offers students chance to focus on career, educational goals

The student population was a little younger this week at Ridgewater College in Willmar, as the campus was the site of the college's sixth annual Summer Camp.

The four-day camp, according to Tribune archives, was established for children in grades 6 through 8 -- particularly minority youngsters -- to explore special interests and start them thinking not only about college but their long-term goals and careers.
