College football: Bungum catches on early at St. John's

The Johnnies handed out jersey No. 1 to freshman Josh Bungum and it didn't take long for the former Paynesville Bulldog to make an impact.

The 5-9, 160-pound wide-out nabbed four passes for 53 yards at Collegeville on Saturday as St. John's buried Northwestern 52-7.

Junior Jake Essler (NLS) took his only carry six yards for the game's last score and senior tight end Taylor Freetly (KMS) led all receivers with six catches for 76.
