White pulled in a 22-yard pass from quarterback Cody Jaeger in the first quarter and a 12-yarder in the second quarter. The Warriors (1-0) led 14-0 at halftime.

Ridgewater added seven more when running back Batelmy Exil broke out for a 51-yard run in the third quarter.

"It was a great cut from Exil," Warriors coach Rob Baumbarn said. "He ran hard and broke a few tacklers and turned on the jets."

Mesabi Range (0-1) mounted a comeback in the fourth, scoring touchdowns on a Derrick Reynolds 11-yard reception and a fumble recovery in the end zone after a muffed punt.

"Typical first game mistakes and jitters," Baumgarn said. "There were a lot of good things and some bad things, but overall I'm pleased with the win."
