WORTHINGTON — Ridgewater couldn’t find the rim from the free throw line, fell behind by 20 at halftime and bowed to Minnesota West 80-67 on Saturday.

“The first half was terrible,” said Warriors head coach Bob Knutson, who missed the game to attend his son’s wedding. “But our guys didn’t quit.”

Four Warriors scored in double figures, led by DeJuan Curry with 17 points.

Beau Herrig had 15 points and 9 rebounds, Melvin Kromah had 11 points and Brett Rickheim scored 10.

Terrance Lockett had 8 points, 8 assists and 3 steals.

The Warriors play host to Riverland at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
