College Softball: Ridgewater pounds Anoka-Ramsey

WILLMAR — Ridgewater heated up its offense on a chilly day, banging out 28 hits and scoring 30 runs in a sweep of Anoka-Ramsey in an MCAC Southern Division doubleheader on Tuesday.

The Warriors won the opener 18-3 and took a 12-4 victory in the second game.

Ridgewater is now 6-4 in the division and 16-7 overall.

Tasha Dallmann was 3-for-3 and drove in four runs and Brielle Hauge and Brooke Wuertz combined for four hits, including three triples, and four RBIs to lead the Warriors in game one.

Courtney Olson homered and drove in a pair of runs.

In the second game, the Warriors set the tone with seven runs in the first two innings.

Wuertz had three hits and scored four times, and Olson doubled and drove in three runs. Heather Horning and Erica Melbie also drove in runs.
