Mayville State, an NAIA member, plays in the Dakota Athletic Conference. The Comets finished 24-19 in 2011.

Hector's Werner signs

The Mayville State volleyball team is proud to announce the signing of Remington Werner, a senior at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart. Werner, who is from Hector, was named to the 2011 West Central Tribune All-Area Volleyball Team.

"We are very excited that Remington has made the choice to attend Mayville State and further her volleyball career as a Comet," said Coach Lindsey Johnson. "She will add a great deal of competition to a few different positions and her athletic ability is exactly what we were looking for."
