Ridgewater won the MCAC South Division match 25-11, 25-14, 25-15.

Ridgewater, which was 1-3 against a strong field at its invitational last weekend, improved to 6-0 in the South Division and is 10-4 overall. Anoka-Ramsey fell to 1-3 in the South and 2-10 overall. The Warriors play Riverland at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.

"I thought we controlled every aspect of this match well," said Warriors head coach Joe Sussenguth. "We passed very well, served strong and executed well on first ball opportunities."

Kelsey Stommes led the Warriors with 9 kills and she also had 3 solo blocks.

Brittany Nissen had 8 kills and a block for a Ridgewater front line that made just seven hitting errors.

Tiffani Karbo had 18 set assists -- along with 4 kills, 2 service aces, a block and a team-high 10 digs -- and five other Warriors also were credited with assists.

"I'm pleased with where we are at after the first half of conference play," Sussenguth said, "but we need to strive to make improvements from here on out."
