FERGUS FALLS — The Ridgewater volleyball team got back to its winning ways with a four-game MCAC victory over Minnesota State-Fergus Falls on Wednesday night.

After splitting the first two games, the Warriors won two straight to wrap up the match, 25-17, 21-25, 25-20 and 25-18.

This was an exceptional win on the road for our team; I’m proud of how we played,” said Warriors head coach Joe Sussengurth. “ We served very well and our ball control improved as the match went on.”

Ridgewater’s Tegan VanMoer led the team with 21 kills and Tracy Braaten had 11, Jen Puncochar had 8 and Morgan Meyer had 6.

Tiffani Karbo had 44 set assists, 4 kills and 11 digs. The Warriors totaled 88 digs in the four games.

The Warriors have a week off until playing at St. Cloud next Wednesday.
