The Warriors improved to 4-1 in the division and 9-4 overall with the 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 victory.

“It has been a few years since we’ve come to Minnesota West and earned a sweep,” Warriors head coach Joe Sussenguth. “So even though we weren’t at our best, it was a good conference road win.”

Jen Puncochar and Morgan Meyer led Ridgewater with 11 kills and the pair made just three hitting errors combined in 42 attempts.

Amy Bolin had 7 kills and Taylor Sharpe had 5.

Tiffani Karbo had 35 set assists.

The Warriors return to Willmar for a Homecoming match against Riverland at 1 p.m. Saturday.

“We are looking forward to our conference home opener on Saturday,” Sussenguth said.
