College wrestling: Hagen takes 5th at national tournament

St. John’s wrestler and KMS alum Mitch Hagen took fifth place at 184 pounds in the NCAA Division III national tournament on Saturday. Hagen, the No. 4 seed, lost to Julian Meaney in the first round, but went 4-1 in his next five matches in the consolation bracket, before pinning Colin Lenhardt in 34 seconds to claim fifth place.
