WILLMAR — Ridgewater College swept its quadrangular on Friday evening at the college gym.

The Warriors drilled Northland, a first-year program, 30-15, Itasca College 39-6 and Jamestown (N.D) College 25-15, the most competitive of the three matches as the visiting junior colleges often forfeited.

With three wins, Matt Meyer, freshman from Atwater, extended his record to 16-9.

Zach Revier also went 3-0 upping the freshman from Olivia record to 11-8.

It was Ridgewater’s only home appearance of the pre-holiday season. On Jan. 11 the Warriors will host an open tournament.

The line-up will get a load of tough matches today when they compete at the St. Cloud State open.
