College Wrestling: Rochester rocks Warriors

Email

WILLMAR — For first-year Warriors’ head coach Tom Gruhlke, his first winter at Ridgewater is a time for learning the ropes of college wrestling.

“I’ve got to get out there and recruit and get the numbers up,” said the long-time high school coach, who took over for Tom Beyer last fall.

Injuries, personal matters and academic trouble can reduce a full wrestling room in October to a handful of hail and healthy wrestlers by mid-winter.
