College wrestling: Steinhaus helps ‘M’ win national duals

Kevin Steinhaus of Pennock (KMS) went 3-0 as the No. 3 Minnesota Gophers won the National Duals Championship at Williams Arena.
The fifth-ranked junior wrestling at 184-pounds had a pin in Friday’s 28-8 win over Virginia Tech. On Saturday he won by decision each time in U of M wins over No. 2 Iowa in the semifinals (22-15) and No. 1 Oklahoma State in the finals (28-9) before 2,334 fans.
