College Wrestling: Steinhaus now 2-time All-America

Minnesota Gophers redshirt sophomore wrestler Kevin Steinhaus of Pennock (KMS) placed fifth at 184-pounds at the NCAA National Championships in St. Louis. The Gophers placed second to Penn State, which won its second consecutive national title.

Steinhaus defeated Ben Bennett of Central Michigan 3-1 in the consolation final to avenge a 2-1 loss during the season. It's the second All-America award for Steinhaus, who placed seventh last year.

Minnesota heavyweight Tony Nelson won a national championship. Gophers coach J Robinson was named National Coach of the Year.
