DAWSON -- Connie Kathleen Crosby, 63, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Dawson, died Sunday at Banner Baywood Heart Hospital in Mesa.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Dawson.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Hanson and Dahl Funeral Home of Dawson.
She was born June 30, 1945, in Dawson to Milford and Dorothy (Hull) Crosby. She attended college at Moorhead and St. Cloud. She worked in various business and retail positions before working as a counselor and advocate of women in domestic abuse situations and substance abuse rehabilitation. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Wyoming in 1995. She was a social worker in Wyoming, Texas and New Mexico. She returned to Dawson to care for her mother and purchased the Picket Fence Motel in the late 1990s. After her retirement, she moved to Mesa. She was a master gardener.
She is survived by her children: Katie (and Satit) Seneesirikul of Bangkok, Thailand, Marlo (and Joe) McGaver of Duluth and Christopher (and Erin) Crosby of Clarkfield; five grandchildren; one sister: Peggy Crosby (and David Pederson) of Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
