Sibley State Park
The Interpretive Center is open daily. All Sibley State park programs are lead by the park naturalist or visiting expert. They are at the Interpretive Center and are free unless otherwise noted. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park and they are available at the park office. For more information call 354-2002.
Mt. Tom story: 10 a.m. Oct. 3. Northern Kandiyohi County is a beautiful area of rolling wooded hills, wetlands and lakes. Meet atop Mount Tom, one of the highest landmarks in 50 miles, and explore the processes that shaped the land.
Fall colors walk: 2 p.m., Oct. 3. Walk with a naturalist along a wooded trail and learn how sunlight, temperature, soil and leaves work together to produce fall colors.
Winter bird feeding: 10 a.m., Oct. 4. Learn about foods, feeders, bird identification and behavior of winter birds. Free bird feeder designs and information available.
