BELVIEW -- Cora Alfreda Grieger, 85, of Belview died Friday at Parkview Home in Belview.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Burial will be at Wood Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.
She was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Highwater Township, Cottonwood County, to Erik O. and Amalia Dorthea (Jensen) Fester. She grew up on the family homestead and attended country school in the Lamberton area.
She married Victor F. Grieger on Feb. 1, 1943, in Storden. They lived near Sleepy Eye. They moved in 1950 to Posen Township near Wood Lake where they farmed. They retired in 1977 and moved north of Belview. Victor died in 1978. She moved to Parkview Nursing Home in 2001.
She is survived by her children: Merle of Redwood Falls, Joyce Grieger of Belview, Sheila (and Spencer) Stephens of Tomah, Wis., Bradley (and Donna) of Wood Lake; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, seven brothers and four sisters.
