The council convenes at 7 p.m. at the Willmar Municipal Utilities auditorium, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.

Members of the Willmar Charter Commission have been meeting for the past year and a half to review and recommend changes to the document, which provides the framework for how the city is governed.

The commission's work is near completion. Monday's presentation to the council will allow charter commission members to hear feedback before they put together a final draft.

Council members also will hear a report at Monday night's meeting about the startup of the city's new multimillion-dollar wastewater treatment plant.
