County board to hear update on tornadodamage

WILLMAR -- Don Ericson, emergency management director for Kandiyohi County, will give a report Tuesday to the County Board of Commissioners on the July 14 tornado that damaged homes and farms southwest of Spicer and on the south side of town.

The commissioners meet at 9 a.m. at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building.

In addition to Ericson's report, a decision is pending on the final environmental impact statement for Concrete Products of New London.

The board also will sell capital improvement bonds for the Health and Human Services Building and celebrate Probation Officer Recognition Week with Kandiyohi County Community Corrections.
