County road 137 closed Tuesday

A section of Kandiyohi County Road 137, north of State Highway 12 near Atwater, will be closed tomorrow while a culvert is being replaced.

According to the Kandiyohi County Public Works Department office in Willmar,the closure is located 2 3/4 mile north of Highway 12 in Gennessee Township. Crews will be replacing a 24-inch culvert.

The work zone will be closed to traffic during the project, which is expected to be completed sometime late tomorrow.

Motorists are reminded to slow down for their safety and the safety of the workers as construction continues.
