No horsing around Friday for the gals out to give cancer the boot during the 21st annual Kandiyohi County Relay for Life at the Willmar Middle School track. The eight-person team includes cancer survivors Jeannie Marie Hoverud, team captain, and Melissa Basore. The Cowgirls also provided free horse rides on Slider, a sorrel quarterhorse. Twenty-eight teams participated, walking from 6:30 p.m. until midnight, celebrating the lives of those who have battled cancer. Tribune photo by Rand Middleton
