Crews work to clear train crash
TWO HARBORS, Minn. (AP) -- Canadian National is investigating how two of its trains collided head-on in northeastern Minnesota, injuring five crew members.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. Thursday north of Two Harbors in Lake County. CN spokesman Patrick Waldron says one train pulling 118 empty cars was headed north, away from Two Harbors, while the other train with three locomotives pulling 116 cars full of taconite was headed south on the same stretch of track.
