Cross Country: Willmar boys, girls both 2nd at Moorhead

MOORHEAD — The Willmar boys and girls cross country team’s both placed second at the Shocky Strand Invitational meet on Monday.

The Willmar boys finished with 65 points, just behind Perham (46).

Willmar’s Tom Seifert placed third in 17-minutes, 34.7 seconds and the Cardinals’ Sam Anez was fourth in 17:37.4.

The Willmar girls team finished with 38 points, just below Bemidji’s 35 points.

Willmar’s Samantha Hanson ran 15:35.7 for second place and Jessa Hanson finished in 16:10.7 for fourth place. Kayla Rudie finished 10th in 16:43.4.
