Culvert replacement on Highway 4 near Hector, Minn., begins Tuesday
WILLMAR -- Motorists in Renville County will experience detours beginning Tuesday on State Highway 4 near Hector as crews work on culvert and tile replacement in two locations.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the northern location is two miles north of Hector near 820th Avenue. The southern location is 4.5 miles south of Hector near County Road 4.
The northern detour follows Highway 212 to County Road 22 and County Road 23.
The southern detour follows County Road 4 to County Road 16 and County Road 2.
Local traffic will be allowed within detour areas, except at the culvert repair sites.
The detour will be removed on Nov. 21, weather permitting.
