WILLMAR - Dale Klemenhagen, age 63 of Willmar died on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud. Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org

Dale Robert Klemenhagen was born on September 12, 1950 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Orville and Adeline (Haats) Klemhagen. He grew up on a farm near Lake Lillian where he attended country school. He graduated from Atwater High School in the class of 1968. He attended Willmar Vo-Tech where he studied accounting. He worked various jobs in Willmar including Gold Fines, Toro, Redwood Falls Furniture store and Wal-Mart. Dale was currently employed in maintenance at Gurley's Foods in Willmar.

Dale was baptized at Oak Park Methodist Church and confirmed at United Methodist Church in Atwater. Dale was united in marriage to Cynthia Schmidt at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Litchfield. The couple lived in Willmar.

Dale was an avid Minnesota Twins Baseball fan at an early age. His passion as a fan continued throughout his life. He very seldom missed watching or listening to a game. Dale enjoyed spending time at family gatherings and visiting with friends. He looked forward to spending time with his great nieces and nephew.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Klemenhagen, parents Orville and Adeline Klemenhagen all of Willmar; sisters: Diane (Bruce) Behm of Plymouth, Laura (Timm) Hauer of Lake Lillian; sisters and brother in law: Mavis (Merv) Kvande of Williston, ND, Steve (Vicki) Schmidt of Bloomington, MN, Diane (Brian) Kelbing of Litchfield and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents, and sister LuAnn Klemenhagen-Schultz.
