KERKHOVEN -- Danny K. Henjum, 58, of Eagan, formerly of Kerkhoven, died Monday at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kerkhoven Lutheran Church in Kerkhoven. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Kerkhoven.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Henry W. Anderson Funeral Home in Apple Valley and for one hour prior to the service at the church in Kerkhoven on Saturday. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
He was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Benson to Arthur and Adele Henjum. He grew up in Kerkhoven and graduated from Kerkhoven High School. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1971 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
He married Beverly Cooper on June 19, 1971, in Morris. They lived in Richfield and then moved to Eagan in 1974. He was the operations manager for Naegele Outdoor Advertising for many years.
He is survived by his wife; children: Nichole (and Reshard) Saulter of Harker Heights, Texas, Andy and Brian Henjum, both of Eagan; one granddaughter; and his siblings: Jackie (and Clarke) Damon of Douglas, Alaska, Vicky Henjum of Juneau, Alaska, Sonny (and Miko) Henjum of Burnsville, and Galen (and Bev) Henjum of Kerkhoven.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
