Essler pick 13 of 15 winners in the week 3 football games on Sept. 18. He won a $25 Gift Card from contest sponsor Slumberland Furniture of Willmar.

The other top five finishers of the week were:

2nd: Darvin Andert of Granite Falls with 12 of 15 and finishing first on the tiebreaker.

3rd: Zack Piepenburg of Litchfield with 12 of 15 and finishing second on the tiebreaker.

4th: Robert Martin of Waite Park with 12 of 15 and finishing third on the tiebreaker.

5th: Wayne Hanson of Willmar with 12 of 15 and finishing fourth on the tiebreaker.

In the VIP High School Football Pigskin Pickem category, Scott Thoma was the weekly winner picking 12 of 15. Rand Middleton, TJ Bartelt and Kelly Boldan tied for VIP second place for the week with 11 winning picks.

The VIP leader through the third week is Middleton with 37 winning picks. Thoma is second overall with 33 winning picks.
